About Us

In the heart of the aviation world, an engineer by profession, a pilot by passion, and an aviation enthusiast at heart lived and breathed the skies. Every takeoff and landing brought a sense of freedom, but he couldn’t ignore the common struggles his fellow pilots and airplane owners faced. Under roof space was limited, outdoor storage meant constant cleaning, and moving aircraft was a cumbersome chore.

Determined to create solutions that matched the spirit of flight, he brought together his engineering expertise and his love for aviation. Vector Lifts was born — not just as a product, but as a revolution in how hangars are utilized. These lifts became a lifeline, maximizing space and simplifying the lives of pilots everywhere.

The journey didn’t stop there. Recognizing the need for precision and performance in the skies, Vector Lifts became a distributor for Helix propellers — an innovation in efficiency and reliability for aviators. And as the pursuit of adventure transcends the air, Vector Lifts expanded into power sports lifts, offering enthusiasts and professionals versatile solutions to enhance their garage, showroom and workspace experiences.

Vector Lifts isn’t just about products — it’s about passion, innovation, and the relentless drive to overcome challenges. From the skies to the ground, we craft solutions that empower those who refuse to settle for anything less than excellence.

Install

Concrete Slab Requirements

Vector Lifts strongly recommends consulting a Concrete Specialist prior to your lift purchase and installation. The recommendations presented in this document are generic in nature and do not cover all situations. You must consult a Specialist to account for national, state, and local building codes as well as local weather conditions, soil composition, base preparation, load bearing, seismic requirements, and any other structural concerns that may arise.

Existing concrete floors should be test drilled to verify minimum floor thickness. A core sample should be obtained and tested to verify minimum floor compressive strength. It is recommended to consult building drawings to verify proper floor reinforcement.

Z

VECTOR LIFTS MUST BE INSTALLED ON CONCRETE ONLY. DO NOT install any lift on any surface other than minimum 6” thick concrete, minimum compressive strength of 3000psi, after 28 days aging, and rebar reinforced. NEVER install a lift on hand mixed concrete.

Z

DO NOT install the lift on expansion seams or on cracked or defective concrete. All anchors must be a minimum of 6 inches away from any expansion seams, control joints or other inconsistencies in the concrete.

Z

DO NOT operate the lifts without the top brace securely attached to a structural beam.

Z

DO NOT install any lift on a secondary floor level or on any ground floor with a basement beneath.

Other

BUILDING CODES COMPLIANCE

Your state, municipality, building zoning agency or airport may have its own unique set of requirements. For installation, the issuance of a local building/occupancy permit may be necessary and require approval of a government jurisdiction. It is the customer’s responsibility before purchase and / or installation to contact your local building department for a complete list of applicable requirements and fees related to installing and/or operating any of our lifts.
